Amulya Shastri is a 22 year old singer from New Dehli. She started learning the Carnatic Classical music when she was 6 years old and she also likes to experiment with regional folk music and Hindustani Classical music. She wants to come to Ethno to learn music from people with different backgrounds and be part of the cross-cultural exchange that Ethno is.

Satyendra Singh Solanki is a 26 year old santoor-player from Bhopal. He plays Hindustani Classical music and has also been trained in Dhrupad style music. He has perfomed at many festivals and recieved awards for his music. Now he wants to bring his santoor to Sweden and share his music with others and learn music from other cultures.

Target users

All participants at Ethno Sweden and the audience at the big Ethno concert in Rättvik.

Goal

The goal is a musical and cultural exchange between different musicians and traditions, where Satyendra and Amulya can participate at Ethno Sweden 2017, share their music and at the same time get to know the other participants and play music from these musicians traditions.

If you not are participating in Ethno, you have the possibility to enjoy the music during concerts that are arranged in Rättvik, during the camp.
